Its a nice place, in response to Paul G, but it just seems that the sign won't be left alone. Its been vandalised and replaced loads now. Alston just starred in a recent documentry named "the town without love" or something like that which was on channel 4. It was based on the fact that there is a very low woman population of Alston.
